Primark Brings Value Fashion To New Jersey And New York Shoppers With Store Opening At The Mills At Jersey Gardens

Primark, the international clothing retailer that offers quality fashion at value prices, today opened a new store at The Mills at Jersey Gardens in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The new store will help meet shopper demand in the New York metro area with more than 33,000 square feet of retail space boasting on-trend fashion, beauty, homeware and quality essentials for the whole family at affordable prices.

Jersey Gardens is Primark’s 426th store globally and 19th in the United States, supporting the brand’s growth plan to reach 60 US stores by 2026. In addition, the store will be the Ireland-based retailer’s 3rd store in New Jersey, and is also quickly accessible to New Yorkers – less than an hour from Manhattan shoppers, with daily transportation from the Manhattan Port Authority Bus Terminal. The Mills at Jersey Gardens features tax-free shopping year-round, and it boasts easy access from Newark Airport, making it a great destination for shoppers looking for vacation-ready outfits and travel necessities.

Opening weekend kicks off at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6th with the store ribbon cutting. The weekend will feature games and giveaways to participating shoppers on a first-come-first-served basis and live music from local DJ Jaymie Perez. The fun-filled weekend will also serve up sweet treats to shoppers while supplies last including donuts from Rabble Rise Donuts on Thursday, Wild Bill’s cream soda (the beverage invented in Elizabeth, NJ!) on Friday and Italian ice from Chill Out Italian Ice on Saturday from 12-4 p.m. in the Primark parking lot.
