Additional information:
Primark was one of the first signatories to the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh 2013 – now known as the International Accord.
We currently have 22 approved supplier factories in Pakistan.
Our own Structural Integrity Programme is operational in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Cambodia and Myanmar, whereby Primark-approved factories are subject to comprehensive structural integrity surveys.
Our Ethical Trade audits, which take place at least once a year, give us a detailed picture of working conditions across factories, including fire and electrical assessments.
For more information on how we work to instil and protect workers’ rights and wellbeing in our suppliers’ factories, see here.
