Primark opens its first store in northern Poland as Koszalin becomes the retailer's ninth location in the country

• The new store, covering an area of over 2,000 sqm, offers a wide selection of fashion, homeware and everyday essentials, all at Primark’s great value prices.

• The store features eight self-service checkouts, three traditional tills and 12 fitting rooms, providing customers with a convenient shopping experience.

Primark today opened its ninth store in Poland and its first location in the northern part of the country. Located at Forum Koszalin shopping centre, the new store spans more than 2,000 sqm of retail space across a single floor.

It has been designed with customer convenience in mind, featuring eight self-service checkouts for quick and easy card payments, three traditional tills, and 12 spacious fitting rooms.

Primark Koszalin features the latest fashion trends, its premium Edit collections and everyday essentials across womenswear, menswear, kidswear, beauty, lifestyle and homeware, all at the affordable prices the brand is known for.

Opening just ahead of the new school year, the store provides customers in Koszalin and the surrounding region with the perfect opportunity to complete their back-to-school shopping. The range includes affordable clothing for children and teenagers, footwear, backpacks, pencil cases, water bottles and lunch boxes.

The opening of the Koszalin store forms part of an important year of growth for Primark, both in Poland and internationally. The retailer has already confirmed plans to open a further three stores in Poland by the end of 2027, at Promenada shopping centre in Warsaw, Atrium Biała in Białystok and Kaskada shopping centre in Szczecin.

Alongside its expansion in Poland, Primark continues to strengthen its presence across Central and Eastern Europe. In 2026, the retailer has already opened two new stores in Romania and plans to launch two additional locations in Iași and Bacău before the end of 2026. Later this year, Primark will also open its first store in Ostrava, Czechia, located just 20 kilometres from the Polish border. Once these planned openings are complete, Primark will operate 24 stores across the Central and Eastern Europe region, underlining its strategic importance to the company's continued growth.

Primark's expansion also extends beyond Europe. This year, the retailer entered the United Arab Emirates with its first store at Dubai Mall, followed by two further openings. In the coming months, it will also mark its presence in Bahrain and Qatar. Another major milestone was the opening of the brand's new flagship store in Manhattan's Herald Square, one of the most iconic retail destinations in the United States.
